Delicious eaten. Really excellent German dishes for a very friendly price for Dutch people. We will definitely return here next year!

Have had lunch in Schmiedefeld today, it was simply great. Finally, after 10 years, eating original Thuringian dumplings was great, because you can't get that in every inn. Thanks to the landlords.

Room ok, food too, but still I can not recommend this accommodation, which has nothing to do with a hotel.

We were 7 days with 11 people in the Thuringian court. It was just super nice and there is nothing to complain about, let alone about the wonderful food. Despite deserved rest day was opened for all guests! Where is there something else? Many thanks Rudolf, dear Helga and dear Alexander for the wonderful days with you. We all came home well again. Very rustic, rustic restaurant. Acts a bit stale at the beginning, but that's what makes the charm. You should not be put off !!! There were only 4 stars, because the food unfortunately a bit long need. Now I come to But .... but it was worth the wait !!! Authentic Thuringian cuisine. Simple, unfussy, yummy !!! It tastes like grandma !!! Beef roulade and Sauerbraten with delicious dumplings and very important, very tasty sauce! We'll be back next time!

We were 11 people and were well served. The food was delicious, as with nuts. The landlord and his crew are real originals. The restaurant is clean if very quaint. Can you go well?

A small but nice rustic restaurant. The food was excellent and above all freshly prepared. For this I also like to wait a little longer. The staff is very friendly. Should I be close again, I will gladly come back.

Service very slow, long waited for the food, although cook and kitchen help were there. Food ok, but not more. The card did not show which beer came from the tap and which from the bottle.
